Safety standard approval label "UL·CUL label"
The UL standard for labels is specified in UL 969.
UL standards refer to safety standards issued by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. In the United States, UL standards are socially trusted as the highest authority on safety standards, and UL is recognized in safety regulations at the state and municipal levels. Consumers have made it a habit to use the UL mark as a benchmark for safety, guiding their product selection. In Japan, for example, a ruler with a JIS mark is intuitively understood to have high precision. Similarly, there is a recognition that "UL mark = high safety." CUL certification is a certification standard for Canada, where UL conducts tests based on CSA standards and issues certifications under an agreement with CSA. 【UL Standards】 ○ Recognition Mark → A mark indicating that UL has evaluated and certified components/materials used in UL-certified products. ○ Listing Mark → A mark indicating that UL has tested samples of the product and determined that they meet the requirements specified in the safety standards issued by UL.
